Working Principle of QLFW Classifier:
The QLF classifier, along with the feeder, cyclone separator, dust collector, induced draft fan, and control system, forms a classification system. Material rises to the classification zone through the quantitative feeder under negative pressure. The strong centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating classification turbine separates coarse and fine materials. Fine particles meeting the particle size requirements enter the cyclone separator or dust collector for collection through the gaps between the classification wheel blades. Coarse particles, carrying some fine particles, lose velocity after impacting the wall and descend along the cylinder wall to the secondary air inlet. The strong washing action of the secondary air separates the coarse and fine particles. The fine particles rise to the classification zone for secondary classification, while the separated coarse particles are discharged through the discharger.
Performance Characteristics of QLFW Series Classifier:
- Suitable for fine classification of powders, especially suitable for materials with a low specific gravity. The particle size of the classified product can reach D97: 5~150 microns. The product particle size is infinitely adjustable, and the product variety change is extremely convenient.
- High classification efficiency (extraction rate) ≥90%;
- Low speed and long service life. For the same classification particle size, the classifying wheel speed is 50% lower than other horizontal and vertical classifiers. When producing powders with a Mohs hardness <5, the classifying wheel experiences no wear; when producing powders with a Mohs hardness ≥7, the service life of the classifying wheel is 5-8 times longer than other horizontal and vertical models.
- Utilizes a vertical classifying turbine device, resulting in low rotational speed, wear resistance, and low system power consumption.
- Can be used in series with multi-stage classifiers to simultaneously produce products across multiple particle size ranges.
- Can be used in series with ball mills, vibratory mills, Raymond mills, and other grinding equipment to form a closed-loop system.
- The system operates under negative pressure, eliminating dust pollution, ensuring a superior environment, high degree of automation, strong stability, and easy operation.
